Story behind the new profile pic

It’s been almost a year since I changed my profile pic on the web. Looking back in time reminds me of the days when I had no options to change my profile pic, simply because I didn’t have a pic on the computer. A scanned copy of my snap was the closest I could get to change my profile pic.

And now, with too many options, it gets difficult to decide which one to use. After a bit of digging, I found a picture which looks very similar to the default avatar on Yahoo! messenger for Mac.

I was travelling to office by cab, suddenly Ranjith noticed an advertisement on the bus (BEST). Made a joke out of him for saying “Free 512 GB card” with the camera. I didn’t believe ranjith until I saw the blunder today at Andheri. This time I was lucky enough to capture it.
The great thing about the AD is, it reads “Free 512 GB Card + Battery charger”, I got to buy one & use it for lifetime without deleting any snaps. Hope they correct this mistake.

Hello World!

Before you guys start wondering as to why the post title “Hello World”.

“Hello World!” If that sounds geeky well…. I am following my religion, yeh the religion of a programmer. Every programmer(I know there are exceptions) must have written a “Hello World” program in his early programming days.

I had a blogger account for quite some time and somehow didnt find it flexible enough, hence the move to wordpress. More than that I just wanted a reason to get a domain name for my self . Tried importing my blogger posts to wordpress but no success . Might try some time later to get them to my archives.
So the big question .. what do I blog about. I’m happy to say that I wont restrict myself to any specific topic (I’ll try & keep it techie).
Somehow I have a feeling that the first post is the most booring, & time consuming(according to some of my friends).
A few people to thank, Bhavik for getting the domain stuff done, my hosting service Creaima & a couple of them for their suggestions. I have modified the wp theme laila for this blog. Thats it for today.
